İkinciyeni Film was founded in 2013 as a production company specializing in films, TV series, television programs, and documentaries. Its first feature film, the drama Muna, was released in 2015. This was followed by the absurd comedy TV movie Bünyamin in 2016. In 2017, the company produced its second theatrical release, the thriller Durak.
It has produced distinguished projects such as the 34-episode Legends of War, which sheds light on history, the 16-episode docudrama series Legends of History, and the 10-episode Atölye, which explores nearly forgotten crafts.
In 2024, İkinciyeni produced the series Sürgünler for TRT Digital Platform TABİİ. In the same year, it took on theproduction of the film Whistlers in the Dark, a co-productionbetween Turkey, Germany, and Bulgaria, set to be released in 2025.
Additionally, the company has served as a co-producer on projects slated for screenings at prestigious internationalfestivals. Among these are Made in UK, a Bulgarianproduction directed by Stephan Komandarev, and Resonance, directed by Yordan Petkov.
